caption contest, man with weird invention on head

Well, it’s Monday and I have a headache.  So it’s definitely not my favorite day this week.   But perhaps a caption contest will make me feel better.  I’ll post a funny picture so you can write funny captions for it.  Laughter works like a medicine, so that should help.

This week’s photo features a man with some strange contraption on his head.   I have no idea what the actual context is, so just make something up.   (For ideas, you can make the man be whoever you want, or make up what the device does, or imagine what someone might say to him.)

caption contest, party with something missing

We have a party-filled caption contest for you this week!  Well, maybe not party-filled, but there is a party.  Well, if you can have a party with one person.  But at least there are snacks!

Anyway, it’s up to you to write a caption for this picture, to explain what’s going on or what the person shown is thinking.  As usual, the only rules are make it funny and keep it clean.

caption contest, man staring at neighbor’s funny hedges

Welcome to this week’s caption contest!   This week’s photo features a man staring at his neighbor’s hedges, which were trimmed to resemble a man mooning someone over the fence.  Write a caption to explain what’s going on, whether it’s a story or a joke or a quote.  Just make it funny and clean.

caption contest, people dressed in moss costumes

Welcome to our next weekly caption contest!  This week’s photo features several people dressed in costumes that look to be made of moss, and they’re walking down a city street.  As usual, I have absolutely no context whatsoever for this, but that’s not a problem because we get to make up our own context.  So write a caption from anybody’s perspective (whether in the picture or not), and you can invent your own backstory.  Or you can just come up with a joke.  Just make it funny and clean.

For some inspiration, you can consider these questions.  Does this have something to do with the “going green” movement?  Is it some type of camouflage?  Is it a protest?  Who organized this parade?  What are their motives or intentions?
