caption contest, sumo jockey in horse racing

It seems like we just had a caption contest, but it’s already (past) time for the next one.  This week’s strange and unusual photo features a sumo wrestler riding a race horse.  I thought jockeys were usually midgets, but I suppose anyone can do it if they try hard enough.

Anyway, explain what’s going on here, such as why this is happening, what the other riders are thinking, what the horse is thinking, what the announcers might be saying, what happens next, etc.  The only restrictions are to keep it clean and funny.

caption contest, bicycle rider kicking someone in crowd

This week’s caption contest features a bicycle rider kicking someone in the crowd.  Well, that’s what it appears like.  He could be doing a number of other things.  It’s up to you to decide what is going on here.  So get creative — whether with a joke, a pun (if you must), a funny story, whatever.  Remember you can write from anyone’s point-of-view.  Just keep it clean and funny — that’s the only rules.  Have fun!

caption contest, guy playing guitar around junk

This week’s caption contest features a man playing a guitar in what looks like a junkyard.  But who knows, it could be his yard, or props for some crazy movie.  He’s also wearing really weird outfit — is it a costume for something, or is that how he normally dresses?  You get to decide.  If you can figure anything out that’s funny, leave a comment for our enlightenment.  ‘Cause I just don’t get it…

caption contest, motorcycle popping wheelie next to cop

How about an action shot for the next caption contest?  Well, not big-time action, but you could write some in for what happens next.  The picture shows a guy on a motorcycle poppin’ a wheelie, and there’s a motorcycle cop next to him.  Obviously you can write about what each of them might be thinking, although you could also create a story for what happens next, which has potential (especially if you think there’s not enough action and you want some explosions or ninjas or such).
