funny pictures, political edition, 2020

Today there is a need for some humor, with it being election day in the U.S. This is a scary election, with millions of people voting for which presidential candidate seems least likely to destroy democracy. (I still can’t get over the fact that out of all the great people here, Joe Biden and Donald Trump are the ones we get to choose from. But I digress…) Anyway, here’s some politics-related pictures that hopefully you might find funny or humorous.

I have to agree… how in the world can we end up with two candidates that most people don’t want to vote for?
This would get out of control quickly, because neither Madea nor Trump would back down, but it would be more entertaining than the recent dumpster fire debates.
Don’t get mad — it’s a joke. Neither presidential candidate is “right”, IMO.
How often do people change their mind? And what methods might be successful? Healthy debates are great, but a lot of online arguing where people just repeat their standard talking points could be time spent doing something more productive. And people might be happier too.
Actually, I don’t want to know what people are having for dinner, either… is there a good reason to get on Facebook these days? 🙂 And don’t get me started on the professional trolls who are creating division on purpose…
Please don’t judge people by who they vote for. They might have one primary reason to vote for a party and thus vote for a turrible-in-most-other-ways candidate.

funny pictures, episode 16, political edition

With today being election day and the predictions showing that it will be closer than it should be, it looks like half the voters will be disappointed when it’s all over.  So what better time for something funny?  Here’s more funny political pictures, to lighten the load.

I’m not sure Boss Hogg and Rosco P. Coltrane would do a better job than Obama or Romney, but they would be a LOT more entertaining!

Are zombies allowed to vote? Let’s hope not!

The government might as well sell it — they’ve already sold out on it.

Regardless of your stance on Obama’s policies, there is the very important issue of how we going to pay for it.

[A few weeks ago] Biden: “Shouldn’t we be fixing the economy instead of playing golf?” Obama: “Wait until we get closer to the next election. Then we’ll make things look better.”

Obama: Did I do that?

Kid, a lot of people are scared…

As always, if you have funny commentary to contribute to any of these pictures or topics, feel free to leave a comment.  (Just remember this is a humor site, so serious rants belong elsewhere.)

What happened to the ACORN investigation?

Remember the investigations about the ACORN group during the 2008 Presidential election?  Supposedly they were coercing people to vote for Obama instead of being non-partisan like they’re supposed to be.  And supposedly they were registering people to vote multiple times and also registering people who were already dead.  I haven’t heard anything about this investigation since Obama won the election.  I wonder why…

BTW, I heard that ACORN stands for “Association for Continual Obama Registration Now”.  That sounds about right…

caption contest, Barack Obama, President-Elect

Election day for 2008 has come and gone, and now Barack Hussein Obama is our President-Elect.  This is truly a historic time for our country, in numerous ways.  (Hopefully it will be the good kind of history.  Time will tell.)

Anyway, in order to commemorate this event and to give you an outlet for your thoughts on it (whether positive, negative, excited, scared, terrified, curious, crap-your-pants-horrified, elated, I-can’t-believe-this-just-happened, dumbstruck, I’m-moving-out-of-the-country, whatever), here’s a picture needing a caption.

So given the current state of affairs in the United States and that Barack Obama will be our next President, explain what Obama might be thinking in this picture.
