Imagine people seeing that on your property when looking through Google Earth or Google Maps or via spy satellite! It would be a great practical joke, and you’d get a lot of attention!
Obviously these things are harmless in and of themselves. But remember that some people don’t appreciate such humor. And from satellite these things might look realistic enough to warrant serious attention. So don’t be surprised if you get visited by men in dark suits and dark sunglasses. This type of stuff is actually used in warfare, and was very successful during World War II — a fake outpost called “Fortitude South” was setup, and it deceived the Germans so effectively than they thought the Normandy landings were a diversion. 🙂
