caption contest, bicycle stunt to impress the ladies

Welcome to our next weekly caption contest!  The game is real, and the prizes are imaginary!  Well, except that you can feel good if you write something funny — there might be thousands of people read it and be amused.

This week’s photo features a man who appears to be doing a stunt on a bicycle (or about to wreck it).  Is he trying to impress the ladies?  Or do they have something to do with it?  You get to write the context.  Have fun with it.  Just make it funny and keep it clean.

Obama Fried Chicken

Someone in Beijing, China, created a restaurant called OFC, which stands for Obama Fried Chicken, except they copied the KFC logo and might some slight changes.

And apparently KFC has made commercials in China with an Obama-lookalike.

At first, it looked like they were implying you could change from Obama to a chicken sandwich.  I know some people who would make that trade…

While verifying the story online, I saw where someone had opened a restaurant called “Obama Fried Chicken” in Brooklyn in New York City.  That took some courage…  There was a public outcry, but the owner said 4 out of 5 customers were okay with the name.  I’m sure the owner knew what he was getting into — lots of controversy, which also means free publicity.

hibachi-style chef at Taco Bell

It’s good when companies will put a little effort into their commercials and make them at least mildly entertaining.  (I know, it’s preferable to not watch any commercials, but sometimes I watch sports games live.)

Taco Bell has a new commercial featuring a chef doing special moves while preparing their chicken flatbread sandwiches.  If only this was how it really was done.

I like the use of the mini-flamethrower…  I’ve got to get one of those!

I should prepare a routine like that for when I have company over.  I’ve always said it would be fun to have my own hibachi grill at home.  I can throw food and knives around.  🙂

caption contest, Batman wanna-be

This week’s caption contest features a Batman wanna-be.  Or, if it actually is Batman, he’s really let himself go.  Either way, it’s up to you to figure out something funny to explain this picture.  Remember that you can create a backstory however you want, to setup any particular jokes or puns (if you must).  You can even tie your explanation in with current events or Batman movies or a previous caption contest (links are allowed).  The only rules are to keep it clean and make it funny.
