the food groups
A friend recently explained to me how the food “pyramid” taught by schools is all wrong. He enlightened me with what it should be :
5 food groups : sweets, meats, plants, potatoes, jerky.
4 beverage groups : milk, tea, carbonated, water.
He said potatoes constitute their own group b/c you can make so much with them and it’s all good.
Now you know… spread the word.
