Our regularly scheduled caption contests have become irregular this past week or two, so here’s one to split the difference. In this week’s photo, there’s a huge outdoor picnic. Why do you think all these people are here? Who put this event on? Who’s paying for it? What could possibly go wrong?
Enjoy the comments, and if you think of a funny answer to any of those questions (or one you make up), leave a comment.

When the new Buffet o’ Blog restaurant offered free bacon, they expected more customers, but even they were surprised when the line went into the next county!
If you serve free bacon, they will come…
I heard Mango-Man was buying lunch, so I invited a few friends over… 🙂
whatever TW! EVERYONE knows that you don’t have any friends! 🙂
I decided to host a seminar for people who want to be as cool as me.
I love it when all my children are able to enjoy a good meal together. Thanks to the Buffet o Blog staff for supplying the bacon! And thanks to my 20 wives for the hours of hard work they put into every meal.
every night. 😀
In pursuit of re-election, Obama offers a beer summit for local Tea Party members. Apparently Obama wasn’t able to attend due to conflicts with other beer summits held nationwide by many of his own supporters.
wouldn’t you know it. you finally get a table at the new alfresco restaurant everyone’s been raving about and there’s only ONE waiter!
Holiday Inn Express
Hands across America has been updated for modern times. It’s now sit down and eat across America.
I sure wouldn’t want to be the waiter for this table! Although, if they automatically add 18 percent gratuity (tip) for your convenience, that’s gonna be a LOT of money!
Joe: “Have you seen cousin Larry?”
Bob: “Uhh… there’s at least 500 people here! I can’t even see the other end of the table!”
