tech support

Many companies talk about how important the customer is and so forth.  I generally try to avoid calling tech support, but the few times I've had to, I usually had to wait a long time (sometimes even an hour).  Then I thought :

I wonder how long I would be on hold if my call wasn't important to them? 

looking forward to Monday

Today is Friday, yet I'm actually looking forward to Monday.  Am I crazy?  Do I just love going to work?  No, of course not.  But this Monday is Memorial Day, so I'm off work.  And so are a lot of people, so that's not anything newsworthy… but how often do you get to say you're looking forward to a Monday?  🙂

understanding football

One of my friends from India was saying he didn't like watching American football, and I asked why, and he said :

I don't understand how they push each other… it's a difficult game for me to understand.

For some reason that is amusing to me… I think it's the phrase "how they push each other". 🙂
