It’s time for another caption contest!   Sorry I missed last week’s edition, but with all the Christmas festivities and shopping and such, I had a lot of stuff to do.  🙂  One of the regular readers here actually let me know that I was behind in publishing the next caption contest.  It’s nice that people notice.  🙂

Anyway, enough of the small talk.  Let’s get to the picture.  Same rules as always — write something funny to go with this photo.  Most of you will recognize this guy — the Burger King king.

It’s that time again… time for a CAPTION CONTEST!

As usual, write a caption for the photo below.  You can write from any point-of-view — yours, the main people in the picture, people in the background, people off-screen, an overly-dramatic narrator, whatever.  Just keep it clean.  Yes, it’s that simple.

I finally put up Christmas lights

My wife decided she wanted Christmas lights on the outside of the house this year.  She’s been bugging me for weeks to put some up, so I finally did.  But now that I did, she won’t talk to me.  Women are just so hard to please!

caption contest, Santa and Stormtroopers

It’s a Monday, and it’s December now, so how about a Christmas-themed caption contest?  It sounds like a plan to me.   It works like always (if you aren’t familiar with them, I’ll explain).   I’ll post a picture, and you write a caption to go with it.   The caption can be dialogue from the people in the picture or analysis or commentary or just something funny to go with it.   Since a picture is worth a thousand words, there’s a lot of potential.  🙂

For this week’s picture, here’s Santa Claus being escorted down an escalator by Imperial Stormtroopers.  I have no idea what’s going on there, so perhaps we can figure something out.
