caption contest, people on porch watching wildfire

I figure you can’t have too many caption contests that have fire in them, can you?  Either way, this week’s episode does.

It you want actual context, this is a fire on Mount McLean in Canada.  But of course, you are welcome (and encouraged) to make up your own story / backstory for this.  There’s lots of potential here, with a group of people sitting on their back porch watching a raging wildfire.  What are they talking about?  What will they do?  Who is responsible for this catastrophe?

caption contest, bird stealing ice cream

It’s the hot part of summer, when ice cream is so refreshing — even more than normal.  (I can eat ice cream any time of year, but it really hits the spot during these hotter-than-crazy-mad-hot days.)  And so this week’s caption contest features a man with an ice cream cone — well, what’s left of it after a bird has stolen most of it.  And some woman is laughing about it.

It’s up to you to write something funny to go along with this picture.  Remember it can be from anyone’s perspective, or just general commentary.  Or you can make up a backstory, or write what will happen next.  It really doesn’t matter, as long as it’s funny.

caption contest, guy on motorcycle upside down

In light of the X-Games that just finished up, here’s a caption contest featuring a man on a motorcycle doing some kind of crazy stunt.  Is he in the middle of an epic stunt that is going to end well, or is this an epic fail?  You get to decide.  You can also write funny commentary for this, whether from his perspective or the crowd’s or whoever.

caption contest, boy stuck in toilet

Last week’s caption contest was political with President Barack Obama in a room of politicians, looking frustrated.  This week’s caption contest is the opposite — politically incorrect, you could say.  It features a boy in a toilet, also looking frustrated.  Well, maybe it’s not quite the opposite — you could probably draw some parallels.  I’ll leave that up to you.  Or you can make up any story to go with this photo, or even make a pun (if you must).  Just keep it clean and funny.
