Welcome to our next weekly caption contest!  The game is real, and the prizes are imaginary!  Well, except that you can feel good if you write something funny — there might be thousands of people read it and be amused.

This week’s photo features a man who appears to be doing a stunt on a bicycle (or about to wreck it).  Is he trying to impress the ladies?  Or do they have something to do with it?  You get to write the context.  Have fun with it.  Just make it funny and keep it clean.

In light of the X-Games that just finished up, here’s a caption contest featuring a man on a motorcycle doing some kind of crazy stunt.  Is he in the middle of an epic stunt that is going to end well, or is this an epic fail?  You get to decide.  You can also write funny commentary for this, whether from his perspective or the crowd’s or whoever.

Last week’s caption contest with President Obama yielded some funny comments, but let’s take it up a notch.  How about a caption contest featuring a car making a jump, wrecking spectacularly, with accompanying explosions?  That sounds exciting!  So be it.  Figure out some incredible story to explain this picture, or make a funny joke or pun related to it.  The background is that it’s a car stunt by Spanky Spangler that happened during Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Montana, but your explanation doesn’t have to fit with what actually happened.  Get creative.  Think about how this scenario could somehow fit in with everyday life.  Maybe it’s not part of everyday life for you, but imagine how it could be…

caption contest, ice skating accident

Since the Winter Olympics are going on now, I figured this would be the ideal time to have an Olympic-themed caption contest.   Ironically, just today was the couples ice skating finals, which goes along with the picture I have for this these.  This photo is a collage of two pictures, and it features some special move that didn’t turn out right, unless the WWE / WWF is combined with ice skating.  I don’t know any more context, but that’s okay — you get to fill in the missing details.  Write a caption explaining what’s going on, from whatever point-of-view you’d like (e.g., the skaters, their coach, the judges, announcers, analysts, crowd, etc.).
