This photo for this week’s caption contest features a giant digging machine.  It’s a little different in that people don’t play a prominent role in this photo.  But nonetheless there are many humorous captions that can be applied here.  The trick is to use your imagination and create context for it.  Write your own background for the story if necessary.  Or find a way to tie it into an existing news story or movie.

It’s time for this week’s caption contest!  This week’s photo features a runway model with strange eye-wear.  I’ve always thought fashion was kinda strange, but this makes even less sense than normal.  That’s where you come in — we’ll all work together to figure out what is going on here.  Actually, the funnier you can make your explanation, the better.

I plan to post a new caption contest every Monday, as long as the creek doesn’t rise.   (Fortunately for you, I don’t own a creek.)  That said, it’s Monday, and here’s your new caption contest!

This week’s photo is of Superman hanging laundry.  Well, it’s obviously not the real Superman, given how baggy his costume is, unless he’s really let himself go.   Anyway, explain what might be going on here.  Or make a joke about it.   Or just say something funny that’s somehow related to the picture.

Even though it’s Memorial Day, you still get a caption contest.  To be honest, between grilling and being outside and various other activities involved with a day off work, this almost didn’t get done today.   But I couldn’t let my fans down.  So I’m making the sacrifice, for your reading pleasure.  🙂

This week’s caption contest involves a photo of a horrendous car crash inside someone’s garage.  And it happened here in Arkansas.  (Before anyone asks, I don’t know these people personally.  And I blurred part of the license plates to protect their identity.)   I have no idea how this kind of accident happened, but that’s where we all come in.  We get to write the caption / commentary / news release for this picture.  You can write it from the point-of-view of anyone, such as the owners of this debacle (which could be a husband, wife, teenage children, or college roommates), the insurance agent, the neighbors, friends, yourself, etc.  Just make it funny.
