David Hasselhoff was a big star in the ’80s with Knight Rider, well, at least KITT was a star and he got to drive it around. Then he did some other projects that gained him some fame. Supposedly he’s really famous in Germany as a singer. But has it really come to this? This new video from Australia is just bad… And it’s one of those videos where you’re watching it and you’re wondering if this is really happening. I mean, it just keeps getting worse and worse. I imagine he’s making fun of himself and his past, but this is just bad. And at one point you think the “story” may be redeeming itself a little bit, but then it falls apart, too. I just don’t know why this happened…

is it possible to get dumber by watching something? I agree in that I think he was making fun of himself… and I think the ability to laugh at oneself is a quality more people should have… HOWEVER… If you want to laugh at yourself PLEASE keep it PRIVATE… do humanity a favor & keep it to youself… that’s just NOT necessary!

As the mechanic who designed all the special features on KITT, I would have to say that the eject-on-demand feature was certainly a stroke of genius on my part. I just never thought it would be used in such a cool way as to eject an ungrateful chick from the car. Fantastic!

Yeah, there were some good shows in the 80’s… I was watching some A-team re-runs a day or two ago.
