It’s that time again… So here’s more funny / innovative / impressive Halloween costumes.

Sure, you can make your own cosplay costume. Making it look realistic is a lot harder than you might think.
When you create your own costume, it’s good to get a second opinion. It shouldn’t look like you’re wearing a diaper…
Even Sauron gets sweet cravings… Just don’t mess up his order!
I don’t know what happened here…
Some things shouldn’t be supersized… this is scary!
This is high quality! The attention to detail is impressive. This took either a lot of time or money. It’s almost too good for trick-or-treating — this should be at a comic-con cosplay contest.

Here’s a quick post showing a few Halloween costumes I’ve come across.

This is creative.
I suppose this is creative, but WHY?
This is a good attempt at Optimus Prime, but a reminder of the “uncanny valley”, that as you get closer to reality, it can appear further away. It also shows how DIY costumes are often harder to pull off than you might expect. And to be fair, the costume would work a lot better if he had his helmet on.
Here’s an example in the opposite direction — this is less realistic, but it looks better because you aren’t comparing it to reality.
Their expression says it all. (And that is one sad clown!)
This is kinda neat, although we can’t tell how the person is able to see.
Let’s end on a high note — this is a well-done costume! This is in the style of a 1983 Topps baseball card, but 3D.

With Halloween approaching once again, people are looking for costumes that are funny, weird, scary, cool, awesome, etc.  We don’t sell costumes here, but we do usually show pictures of some interesting costumes every year around this time.  So here’s a few more…

This is cool! One of the Ghostbusters and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Speaking of cool… what’s cooler than a Mr. T costume for babies? You have cute and tough at the same time.

I like this one, too — Spiderman’s enemy Doctor Octopus / Dr. Octavius / Doc Ock, and he has captured Spiderman. This might scare some children, but that’s part of trick-or-treat, isn’t it?

Warning: the following picture may be disturbing to some viewers.  If you are easily grossed out or offended, you should stop here.  It’s just not right.

No man should ever dress like Wonder Woman. I realize some people enjoy gross stuff, but there’s a line you don’t want to cross, and this is so far past that line that it’s like “what line?”

The caption for this could be “Never too old to attend Hogwarts”, but that might not be true…

One of my friends said he was going to get a Halloween costume of a giant whoopie cushion.  Of course you can imagine what kind of sound effects he would produce to go with such a costume.

We’ve made several posts already containing funny / cool / awesome / weird Halloween costumes, but the pictures continue to pour in, so here’s more.  Feel free to comment on any of them, if you have something funny to add.

If you happen to be stuck in a wheelchair during Halloween, convert it to the Batmobile.

I know, there's the saying "if pigs had wings", and some people will be amused by how corny it is, but some people will think it's stupid. Wear at your own risk.

Green army men. This is cool.

I like this because it shows creativity and it's unique.

I'm not sure if he's supposed to be the Silver Surfer or Aluminum Foil Man. At least he tried...

Speaking of trying... here's Mario, Wario, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach (or is that Daisy?)

Oh, my! This somewhat resembles Wonder Woman, but something just ain't quite right. This reminds me of the Tacky Party our singles group at church used to have...
