caption contest, burning house behind firefighters

It’s Monday, so you know what that means — another caption contest.  You know how this works, but for any first-time visitors, here’s the low-down.  You (and I mean you) look at the picture below and think of a funny caption for it.  The caption can be what someone in the picture is saying, or it can be in the form of commentary like from an announcer overlooking the situation, or you can even create some type of parallel with the real-world.  The idea is for the caption to be funny.

caption contest, dump truck smashing a pickup

Here’s your weekly caption contest.  As usual, the prize is that the writer of the funniest caption gets to feel special that his/her humor was laughed at the most.   You just can’t put a dollar amount on that kind of satisfaction!

But enough rambling!  Here’s your picture for this week.

caption contest, big couch

It’s Monday, so some of you are inevitably awaiting the next caption contest.  Well, your wait is over.  Here is this week’s issue.   Now write something funny to go with it!   🙂

caption contest, Chuck Norris

It’s Monday, and some of you are probably anxiously awaiting the next caption contest.  (If you’re not, you should be, because this is awesome!)  🙂  Anyway, regardless of your expectations, here it is.

This week I’m using an animated picture, featuring Chuck Norris and some woman in a car.  I don’t know exactly what the context is for this scene, but that’s part of the fun in writing captions — you get to decide.  You can write dialog for Chuck Norris, the woman, or provide narration.  However you do it, have fun.
