I thought it was just plain randomness (and it probably was), but now WebMD says there are a lot of causes of obesity, including things like not getting enough sleep. (That one must be my problem!) They also cite air conditioning and pollution as possible causes. They also think there could possibly be a “fat-inducing virus”. I tell ya, WebMD is losing credibility in my eyes (considering the recent post on hypnotherapy helping with bowel problems).

I happen to enjoy being “fat”. I can eat whatever I want, how much I want, when I want. I don’t have to care about my appearance. I don’t count calories. I am way offended by all these people saying I’m “obese” and that I have a problem. Maybe I’ll sue these health books and magazines for putting me down because I like to eat… This is a free country, and there’s nothing wrong with being bigger than average.
And while I’m ranting, fat people are discriminated against. I went to a modelling tryout, and they basically rejected me before I even tried out. They didn’t even look at my acting abilities or take the time to observe all my natural charisma and stuff… they turned me away because I’m what they call “overweight”. I tell ya, we need some realistic models, because most folks in America are overweight already, so it would be good for folks to see how these clothes would look on them and not some skinny model that eats only salad.
And the seats in movie theaters clearly aren’t big enough. I don’t want to be rubbing shoulders with some stranger next to me…
Fat people need to stand up for their rights! We need to all get together so we can collectively throw our weight around.

I agree with Bubba… if ‘little’ people have a problem with my ‘fatness’ they should be smart enough to stay away from me… And so escape my gravitational pull.
