School has started back for most children around here, so here’s some funny music parody videos about that experience from a parent’s point of view. This first one is my favorite of the three below. It’s called “Baby Got Class”, which is a parody of “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-a-Lot. I would expect this one to be tough to pull off, but they do surprisingly well with it.

Next is “Bye Bye Bye”, a parody of *NSYNC.

Last is “School is Starting”, a parody of Black Eyed Peas.

FYI, these parodies are by The Holderness Family. They’ve created a lot of good parody videos, as well as original content. (I’m not affiliated with them, just a fan. I like parodies, and I realize how hard it is to make one that’s great.)

Today there is a need for some humor, with it being election day in the U.S. This is a scary election, with millions of people voting for which presidential candidate seems least likely to destroy democracy. (I still can’t get over the fact that out of all the great people here, Joe Biden and Donald Trump are the ones we get to choose from. But I digress…) Anyway, here’s some politics-related pictures that hopefully you might find funny or humorous.

I have to agree… how in the world can we end up with two candidates that most people don’t want to vote for?
This would get out of control quickly, because neither Madea nor Trump would back down, but it would be more entertaining than the recent dumpster fire debates.
Don’t get mad — it’s a joke. Neither presidential candidate is “right”, IMO.
How often do people change their mind? And what methods might be successful? Healthy debates are great, but a lot of online arguing where people just repeat their standard talking points could be time spent doing something more productive. And people might be happier too.
Actually, I don’t want to know what people are having for dinner, either… is there a good reason to get on Facebook these days? 🙂 And don’t get me started on the professional trolls who are creating division on purpose…
Please don’t judge people by who they vote for. They might have one primary reason to vote for a party and thus vote for a turrible-in-most-other-ways candidate.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted funny pictures, so it’s way overdue.  Plus, the first one has relevance based on current world events, if you’ve heard about Russia’s “takeover” of Crimea (part of the Ukraine).  Then there’s the usual randomness.

I know there are tons of iAccessories for the iPhone series, but does anyone really buy this crap? And note how easy it is to take a $600 iPhone 5 and make it look cheap and generic.

With today being election day and the predictions showing that it will be closer than it should be, it looks like half the voters will be disappointed when it’s all over.  So what better time for something funny?  Here’s more funny political pictures, to lighten the load.

I’m not sure Boss Hogg and Rosco P. Coltrane would do a better job than Obama or Romney, but they would be a LOT more entertaining!
